Christians Against Poverty (CAP) Debt Centre (Irvine & Three Towns)
Year on year, the debt advice industry has seen a growing number of people in need of help. The coronavirus pandemic is expected to push millions more households into financial difficulty in the coming months and years.
The Christians Against Poverty Debt Centre based at Fullarton Connexions in Irvine is already helping people in North Ayrshire become debt free. We are an award winning debt counselling charity and passionate to offer free debt advice to anyone and everyone who seeks it.
Many of the people CAP sees are facing overwhelming situations. With so many other things going on in their lives, debt becomes a secondary issue.
When clients were asked, three out of four had borrowed money in order to pay another bill or debt. Three in five borrowed in order to buy food, clothes or pay for other basic living costs.
Often debts can spiral out of control while we put off facing up to the issue. You are not alone. Anyone can fall into debt. Please get help sooner rather than later. Our non-judgemental, fully qualified debt teams are ready and able to help you plot a step-by-step way to break free from debt!
The first step is often the hardest. Asking for help can be daunting, particularly for those who have reached a crisis point. At Christians Against Poverty the New Enquiries Team is the first port of call for clients. In the last year they’ve received thousands of calls from people up and down the country seeking debt help. The team provides a compassionate voice at the end of the phone, helping to dispel fear. They will listen to your situation and book you an appointment for a local Debt Coach to contact you and speak to you.
Don't wait, take the first step and call our freephone number 0800 328 0006 or go to the website www.capuk.org and enter your postcode to begin your journey out of debt today!
