The Sunday School Nativity play 'Everyone Loves a Baby' took place on Sunday 15th December 2019
Everyone Loves a Baby - Don't they????
Well, you would think so - but not everyone does love a baby according to the Sunday School's latest Nativity triumph. Sisters Flo, Mo and Jo would rather have a dog, a sheep, a donkey or even a grumpy camel rather than their noisy, smelly baby brother.
However when the baby Jesus is born in the stable of their father's inn even Flo, Mo and Jo are won over and join the Shepherds and the Three Wise Lassies (in these days of gender equality a refreshing and glamorous twist to the tale) to worship at the manger.
Another memorable performance, as always, by the Sunday School to celebrate the Good News of the birth of Jesus. With lively songs and enthusiastic performers, the play was rightfully called 'spectacular' by one of its young cast.
The enjoyment of all the actors shone through, from the narrators to the smallest sheep, but the enthusiastic singing of the littlest angel will warm all our hearts this Christmas.
Turns out that everyone does love a baby - what a wonderful reminder of the true meaning of Christmas!
