Sunday Morning Worship 11.00am - 12.00pm

Welcome to our church...

Corona Virus Update

Church services, meetings and church groups cancelled until further notice

The Church of Scotland has taken the difficult decision to cease Church worship services until further notice.  Sermons and prayers will continue to be available on our church website and distributed among the housebound.

We are also cancelling meetings and groups; all in a bid to slow the spread of the Corona virus to protect the general population, and the most vulnerable in particular.

Currently the church will continue to be available for funerals although, for the reasons given above, numbers attending services will need to be restricted to immediate relations.

Pray, keep in contact and care

Members and friends are encouraged to pray, keep in contact with, and care for others through these unprecedented times.  There is a sample prayer here.  As we pray, we are also encouraged to reflect on how we can be the answers to our own prayers.

One of the ways of providing support is by staying in touch by phone and electronic means.  There is a good chance we do not hold the phone numbers for some of the most vulnerable in our congregation and we are trying to gather as many phone numbers and email addresses as we can.

We have prepared a Corona Virus Care Form which can be downloaded by clicking on this link Corona Virus Care Form.  This is a data protection request form for members and adherents to provide additional contact details from what we already have your permission to hold. Please print off, complete and return as directed.  Please keep in touch with the Minister and your elder.

We are exploring new ways we can be of ongoing support to our community.

If you become ill

If you become ill then please follow the NHS guidance found at the following website: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/.  In addition, please also contact the Rev Milliken, we can be praying for you and if necessary, we can take further support actions.

And please keep looking after the most vulnerable and trusting in our God.  Join the Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland, the Right Reverend Colin Sinclair in his prayer

Our virtual church

To allow you to continue to worship during this difficult phase we have created a virtual church.  We will upload audio services, prayers, video and links to other useful websites.

Coffee Break

Coffee Break is a new way for us to stay connected using the web app Zoom. Join us if you can for half an hour at 11am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for a coffee and catch up with the minister and friends. Looking forward to seeing you here: https://bit.ly/39kWhVe.  You can join the group when you like and leave when suits, only downside is supply your own bikkies, kettle, teabag, coffee…!

Bible Study

The minister has signed up for a short online Bible Study course and invites others to join him. The course is called ‘faith working through love’.  It’s a free, short course at beginners’ level and needs no prior learning. The course can be found at https://bit.ly/2Uj2yfV.  Please sign up and email/phone the minister so we can explore this together.
